7. WALK TESTING
Refer to instruction part 4.2, set detector to TEST mode.
A. Power up detector. Perform the walking test one minute later when the detector is stabilized.
B. Set the proper pulse counter (sensitivity) as installation environment required
C. Walk across the detector's coverage area with the speed of 0.75cm per step. The alarm LED will be on for 2~3 seconds, indicating it has detected your movement. Please wait for about 5 seconds and let the detector become stable before the next test.
D. If pet may cross the protected area, detect with a pet. Make sure that the detector will not make false alarm even the pet is in the protected area or climbs up to a furniture.
E. When walking test is finished, set the detector under normal mode to prolong battery life
Attention: To assure proper function of the detector, the protected area should be checked at least twice a year.
